CHASING SHADOWS

  • Chasing Shadows…
    We all are guilty of this leaving the real substance and
    opportunity. Leaving the right people who make us feel
    better, who know all our weakness and still accept us for
    what and who we are.
    We always think perhaps they don’t deserve us, because
    they treat us so well, and it scares us. We Leave them in a
    pursuit of a greener pasture… lest did we remember that
    all that glitters are not gold.
    We go in search of the Gem Stone, Diamond, and
    Sapphire perhaps Ruby, hoping they will make us feel
    better.
    Little did we know that we were embarking on a journey to
    lower our ability to comprehend and accept our value. We
    meet those we call Ruby, Diamond and Sapphire.
    We get really excited, telling our self that, oh wow. ”if I get
    either of this Gemstone the whole world will see me in
    a better and shiny light… “

  • We get what we want for few Seconds, Months perhaps a
    few year………. just to know that all that we wanted was
    an illusion. An illusion of deceit.
    The so called Ruby, and Diamond keeps comparing us
    with better people, keeps consolidating on our weakness
    that we start to think… maybe he’s right… we get to the
    point that whatever they say… means the world..
    We get close to losing our self and identity….
    We start to believe we don’t deserve the best and maybe
    it’s okay for us to become a toy or perhaps a fiddle...
    Not even a third fiddle. ..I’m saying a random fiddle…
    We become object of ridicule, just because we gave them
    so much power to control our thought, emotion , what we
    do and how we react to what other people say or think
    about us…
    The Pho shows a Shadow which is often referred to
    sadness and gloom, often times it leads to low self-worth
    and destruction.
    Next time you think about making a life changing decision,
    make sure you are not leaving the real deal… for a shiny
    cup of silver, which beauty fades in a definite progress of

LAMP UNTO MY FEET, LIGHT TO MY PATH!

  WOW!!!  2020 AD(After the death of our Lord), I mean it's not over but we can both attest to the fact that it's been an extraordinary year!  Don't give me an horrible look cos the fact that you are able to read this actually means it's an Extraordinary year!, Our life has been transformed, for most of us forever!  Sigh! But you know one thing that has been constant! The word of God! During the course of the week, one verse stood out for me "The word of GOD is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path" Let's break it down.... Imagine having a lamp under your feet? How is that even possible! But that's what the word God does. Having a lamp unto a feet  means  we will never walk alone,  We will never be confused,  we will never be in darkness,  we shall always know what to do! I want the Lamp! The word of God is also a light unto my path!  This is deep! well, it depends on the context that which you are looking at it from, in my own term...
