WHAT DOES HE CALL YOU?
We all have been in different relationship in our life, and we have different names we have for each other either from high school days, or in Uni days. For a few of us the name get Stuck often at times, many people believe it’s our actual name.
The one that really interest me most is the name our Parent call us when they want us to do them a favour, you know what I mean…(Smiles). The name they call us when they are upset.. Like my Uncle calls the short form of my middle name when I’have done something ridiculous, once he calls the name, I definitely know I’ have found Trouble.
I know all this names are attached to emotions, Emotion that tends to affect the way we interact with people. God is a God of Emotions, he has demonstrated this in different part of the bible, do you remember the way in called Samuel in a subtle relaxed tone.. the way he called Moses in the burning bush and the way he called Adam in the Garden of Eden. You can sense his emotion, for my literature friends, we call it TONE… The Tone of the Character..
God calls me my middle name when he wants to have a conversation with me, he calls me Oluwakemi meaning God will take care of me, I have never hear him call me Siyanbola and I just think it‘s because Oluwakemi is the name I had as a child, a name I grew to become during my formative years . A name I reckoned with, a name that brings a lot of good lasting memories. A name that gave me a solid platform to become who I’m becoming.
I feel God still sees me as that child that sit on her father laps, sucking her tub, with question mind about universe asking her father who created God himself since he was at the very beginning of creation. Over the years, I found answers to the question and I know he has just BEEN!!!! … I need to question no more.
God calls me Oluwakemi, what does he call you?
