Images from Google This year is fast running, it’s flying, I can barely catch my breath. I remember when we first said Happy New Year to each other    !!!! If you don’t, I do…. Even my nephew is a year old already, my goodness !!!!!!! That brings me down to think deeply… Life is all about being accountable.  Being  accountable to oneself and one’s Creator, we are not all going to live for a century, but now that you are here, how are you making it counts my dear?  L ife is like a vapour, it fumes, it chokes and all of a sudden it disappears… just like that with no trail. This is a wake-up call to us all, it’s the start of the Third month, we are close to the quarter of 2017, how far have you gone?, how many lives have you touched? What has been your contribution to the world? What has been your impact to the people around you? I’m asking myself the same question, so don’t think I’m judging. Let’s us take a break, slow down from our world and take stock of

Image from Google I grew up in Sub-Saharan Africa, a place with lots of plantation and vegetation, a place where Rod signifies  discipline  and Staff   Signifies Royalty and Authority.  A    place where everything is totally different from the status quo of the Western World.   9.999 out of 10 African Parents  use a rod as  a means to discipline their children. Sadly a child that has no rod to put him to order is believed to Stray, Stray away, Get lost in the wilderness of life.   Have you ever wondered why the Rod comes before the Staff in the bible, God our heavenly father, uses his rod to chastise us when we stray from his path, after which he comforts us with his staff after we’ve come back to him. He then prepares a table before us in the PRESENCE OF OUR ENEMIES…   Tell me , how better can that get? what more  can you ask for?  You have a Father that loves you well enough to correct you,  a Father who loves you enough to comfort you, a Father who loves you
